Hi! I'm Trixie, the author

Pornography fascinates everyone. Some of us are fascinated by porn because it turns us on. Some of us are fascinated by porn because it scares or offends us. Some of us are fascinated by porn simply because everyone else seems to be intrigued by it, and for some of us our interest is fueled by a combination of contradictory factors.

With all of this fascination you'd think we'd be able to talk openly and honestly about pornography, but we aren't. As a result, we don't know where to find good porn (or even if such a thing as "good" porn exists), we don't know how to safely surf for porn on the internet, we don't know how to reconcile our conflicting feelings about it, and we don't know how to talk to our partners about porn. We don't know if we love it or hate it or how much we should pay for it. We don't know if it's "real". We don't know if it's good for us or bad for us. We aren't even really sure what porn IS and what it ISN'T.

Regardless of where you stand on these issues, I hope you are able to learn something here whether it's how to select and use a hack-proof username and password for your next porn site membership or if it's a tip on how to tell your husband, wife, boyfriend or girlfriend how you feel about pornography.

I've been working on this site in my head for a long time now so it's very much a work in progress. Please feel free to email me with your comments, questions, and suggestions. -Trixie
